Question: When was the last Supper? Was this a Passover meal or not? According to the book of John, it was the night before. According to Saint Matthew and Luke, it was Passover Day.

God’s answer:

A table with the words: “The Last Supper”. On the table is leavened bread broken into two.
14th day of Nissan
They slaughtered Me that very same day.

Meaning: Note the bread, it is leavened. During Passover, only unleavened bread is eaten. Therefore, the last supper was not a Passover meal. It took place the night before.

Meaning: Jesus instituted the Eucharist during the last supper when He told the apostles to drink the wine and eat the bread in memory of Him. He can only be remembered once He’s already gone. Since He was killed on the 14th day of Nissan, the earliest meal following his death would be that night, which
